01.How much does it cost?
Memnos is free today, and a free plan will always exist: reviewing and exporting your cards will never be blocked. An optional Pro subscription will arrive later to cover AI and hosting, at a deliberately low price, announced clearly and in advance.
02.I already use a flashcard app. Why switch?
If your current tool works for you, keep it, sincerely. Memnos is for those who want the same scientific rigor (the FSRS algorithm) without spending hours on configuration: you start in two minutes, and your cards stay exportable at all times.
03.Is my data private?
Your cards remain yours. Hosted in Europe, JSON export available anytime. You can try guest mode without creating an account: nothing is sent to a server until you sign in.
04.What is FSRS, concretely?
Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler. An open-source algorithm that decides when to re-test you on each card, based on your previous answers. It's the method recommended today by the most demanding spaced repetition communities, not something we invented.
05.What does it run on?
The web, on PC and Mac, in any recent browser. A mobile version is planned later, once the web experience is mature.
06.Can I import my Anki decks?
Yes. Export your deck from Anki as a .apkg file, then drop it into Memnos (New card → Import). It's free up to 500 imported cards, and just needs a free account.
